Form Group modular seating, Robin Day, 1960, in use in the home of Rosamind and Leslie Julius of Hille
Robin Day’s versatile modular seating system was designed to replace the conventional three-piece suite. Seating with or without armrests could be combined with tables and cabinets, and the cushions were supported on rubber webbing rather than springs. Form Group won a Design Centre Award in 1961 and remained in production till the mid-1970s.
