Metrocs

Metropolitan Gallery Inc, founded in 1993, is a design company based in Tokyo, Japan. As well as retailing high-quality products from across the world, Metrocs produces its own range of authentic productions of works by leading international designers including Pierre Paulin and Max Bill.

We collaborated with Metrocs on a reissue of Robin Day’s Form Group (1960), working closely with the company to ensure that the new production of Robin Day’s ground-breaking modular seating system is true to the original design, which received a Design Centre Award in 1961.

In 2025 Metrocs launched a collection of Lucienne Day cushions, covered with our licensee Classic Textiles' digital reprints of five iconic textile designs from the early 1950s (Calyx, Flotilla, Dandelion Clocks, Graphica and Spectators).
